Testimonials
In February 2005 MediFlags sent out a
questionnaire to its user group. Without any follow up almost 60 questionnaire
responses were received and every State in Australia was well represented.
The great majority of responses said MediFlags was easy to use, saved time,
led to increased confidence in conducting reviews, enhanced the clinical
content of reviews and enjoyed good program support. Of particular interest
was that many MediFlags clients had received favourable comments from doctors
about the presentation of their reports. Some responses claimed that MediFlags
had led to an increase in HMR referrals or RMMR contracts.
The questionnaire also sought user concerns
and ideas for future product development. As a result new features have been added.
Following are some of the comments received from MediFlags clients. In some cases comments have been paraphrased.
- "Mediflags provides a structured report
which is easier to use than a Word template and a good basic framework for
medication reviews."
- "A very user friendly program, the
format is excellent and I am getting a lot of positive response back from
GP's."
- "Each update gets better. The clinical
content gives me confidence that I'm not missing something obvious. Doctors
commented favourably when they suddenly received reports produced using
MediFlags."
- "I think this is the most brilliant
software assisting pharmacists in conducting reviews. It holds references,
quicktips and enables you to record and re-use references and research.
Feedback from Drs has been that reports are clear, concise and informative."
- "MediFlags comprehensive program has
helped organise my thoughts and present them in a professional manner as
well as saving me valuable time in minimising those repetitive tasks."

of efficiency that makes HMRs viable."

is excellent."

and 10 HMRs).

enormously."

and VERY user and doctor-friendly."

(with MediFlags) and it LOOKS GOOD."

to produce a report and prompts me to follow a good sequence to finish the
report so as not to forget something (eg. Obs - pathology- drugs-comments).
MediFlags' support is very helpful. They took time to explain things which
was appreciated by a new user."
- "The format of the report is well
accepted by doctors who have commented that reports are easy to read."
- "MediFlags has provided less time
needed on paperwork and more time for patients. Great [report] format -
easy to decipher."

professional looking report with little effort."

experience, commonsense and simple logic."

advice."

the time needed to produce reviews. It really has benefits in the second

the format. Flexible information storage features and (sample) comments
save time in wording statements for report." RMMR and HMR Qld.

exemption because of the report quality."

things and speeds up report writing and provides access to past reports
for updating to a new report."
